    Default My month with Burt

I'm not ranting about a company. I just want to let you know my experience over the last month.
Well it starts at the store I happened across a Burt's Bees shaving cream and aftershave balm. So I grab my phone and attempt to do a quick search for these products here on SRP. I didn't find much, but there were some guys who liked the bay rum ASB and the bay rum soap on another forum was well received. So I bought them. Tried them that night. I couldn't get the cream to lather. I read it and it was a 'low lather formula' so I tried rubbing it between my hands then on my face. It went on thin, smelled chemically and dried after my first stroke with the razor. I proceeded to wash it off and grab a puck of edwin jagger and some tom's cream made an uberlather and felt a little better.
Then I grabbed the ASB again it smelled of chemicals, went on oily, was thin and dried my skin. So I picked up some cornhuskers to counter that.
So now why didn't I write a review? Because I contacted the company. Asked them for suggestions. The responded quickly and I followed. Same outcome. So I replied to them that I got the same results, that I wasn't looking for a refund, but to maybe better their product.

    Sorry about the long post.

so basically, you don't like the lather that burt's bees bay rum soap makes

I didn't care much for it myself as you can see here: Burt's Bees Bay Rum Shaving Soap Review
