What more is there? Ten minutes in a sauna and then another ten in a steam room before the shave.

i shave with an artist club.. so i'm out on the stropping.. i did add a hot towel to this morning's shave and finished with a small snifter of ameretto.. i don't think i can get any more extravagant than that.

Well instead of the cigar dipped in cognac,you could also do a cigar or cigarillo dipped in Grand Marnier,But I still think you should try the old jazz music. Or Maybe a little Hank Williams senior or Patsy Cline or Nina Simone. The only other thing I could think of is to install a barber chair and have your wife or girlfriend learn how to straight shave you....in a sexy black dress. How far can this shaving madness go ha ha ! P.S. You should not wear the sexy black dress....she should......Just sayin Good shave m8te!!

patsy cline is a good idea.. i was thinking natalie cole. i'm still in need of the barber chair and girlfriend though.. i'll go buy the dress ahead of time.

How about prolonged meditative stropping before and after the shave.

And the night before stropping in anticipation of stropping and shaving in the morning (assuming you shave in the morning).

ps...I'm kind of doing the oppposite to you.
I've been working on making my shaving process simpler and more efficient, including where, when and how the blade goes over my face. (Not for the purpose of rushing my shave though, just something I'm working on because the notion interests me).
