what are your thoughts on method shaving?

Everyone has a method, if they didn't they would have a beard.

How can there be a blade in that razor?!

That method shaving is insane...I don't see how it can be enjoyable, plus I could get 2 passes done with my straight in the same amount of time, and get BBS without having shave cream all over my shirt...ridiculous...

The first time I saw one of his videos, I was literally amazed anyone buys anything from him. It's bad enough that he's pushing his products as the "method", but to add all the jargon and make a mess like he does is "mind bottling" as Chaz Michael Michaels would say :boohoo:

at the guy in the first video:

Cut waay back on the coffee and while your at it stay away from power tools and motor vehicles.

I've read up quite a bit on-line about method shaving, including a LOOOOONG, mind-numbing essay about it. The guru seems almost like a cult leader.:soapbox:

I mean, I know we talk shaving to death here, but sheesh, it's still just shaving (probably what most of our friends and family think about our obsession and this forum, eh? "You're looking at razors AGAIN?!").

Way too complicated and involved for me.
