wow. nice score! They're still out there.
The Dorko was a bit high for me but I really wanted it. The two came in and didn't pass the HHT so I took out my Tony Miller 4 sided paddle and the hairs were jumping off the blade in no time. :D
Very nice Rich man!!
Keep up the good work......lol.

I'm wicked jealous...especially of the Dorko. I've always wanted one, just never found one I could afford. I guess if I'd stop buying lots of them, I could afford more expensive ones.:D
how much did it go for? Because I've heard a lot about dorko's but have never seen any prices.
The Dorko to me was pricey $130. I guess to some people that might not be alot. I got it from a German fellow (Manyware) on ebay. He has some really beautiful razors. My 3/8 Dorko French point was also purchased from him. He gets differnt razors in on a regular basis.
The other a 7/8 Rudolph Schmidt I was able to get for $40. :)
What was nice was that both had never been used, I just topped them off with my pasted strop and bang I was shaving.
Happy Birthday Rich
Rich, the site indicates your birthday is today. Mine is too! Got a friendly auto-generated e-mail from SRP as well.
Gotta love May 16.
Thanks JimQuote:

Happy Birthday, Rich!
Thanks X
I shaved with the dorko this AM I think I got it too sharp if that's possible. Should be better next rotation.
Thanks Joe
Thought I'd tell you Happy Birthday again. (I needed one more to qualify for Bill's giveaway):D
I'm working to 1600 to get 4 entries
Doggone it! That's cheating! :D
Well, based on the way this thread started, he has "razor greed"!
Happy b-day Rich.

Those Dorko's are some of the finest shavers out there. They hone up easily, get wicked sharp and give the smoooothest shaves out there. I have three and always look forward to using them in the rotation.
Have a happy B-day Rich and remember, don't shave naked!

I have been wondering about this. I keep seeing people say they have a certain few razors that they really like shaving with and they look forward to them in their rotation. Why don't you just use these few razors all the time? Just curious if there is a scientific explanation or if it is just because everyone likes to experiment with their razors.
...because accumulating them is an addiction, but you feel guilty if you have a whole bunch, but never use them. :D
Rich,
Those are both super nice razors. I've bought a few from manyware and he's a great eBay seller. I've always been happy with his items.
