2 new pickups
Two ebays showed up for me yesterday. I can't resist have to show them..
The first is a 7/8 Rudolf Schmidt - never used
The second is a 6/8 Dorko also never used.
They were a gift to myself....

The Dorko was a bit high for me but I really wanted it. The two came in and didn't pass the HHT so I took out my Tony Miller 4 sided paddle and the hairs were jumping off the blade in no time.

I'm wicked jealous...especially of the Dorko. I've always wanted one, just never found one I could afford. I guess if I'd stop buying lots of them, I could afford more expensive ones.

how much did it go for? Because I've heard a lot about dorko's but have never seen any prices.

The Dorko to me was pricey $130. I guess to some people that might not be alot. I got it from a German fellow (Manyware) on ebay. He has some really beautiful razors. My 3/8 Dorko French point was also purchased from him. He gets differnt razors in on a regular basis.
The other a 7/8 Rudolph Schmidt I was able to get for $40.
What was nice was that both had never been used, I just topped them off with my pasted strop and bang I was shaving.
