    Default Is it any good?

I went into an antique store today and they had 7 or 8 razors, among them was a "Filarmonica # 13" razor in mint condition for $22. Can anyone tell me weather it's a worth while razor and your opinion about that price.

    Thanks all,
    Brock

P.S. All the razors were the same price regardless of condition.

Any quality razor in mint condition for that price is a steal period. I would have bought it.

Totally agree, that one is one you jump at, especially at that price.

You'll all laugh but my wife takes care of the money so before I go ahead I want to make sure it's ok with her.

Oh, I'm not sure if this improves the value of this razor but it was still in it's box.....and did I mention it was in used condition?

If it's in good condition at that price then you should definitely go for it. If you get it then give us some pics on this thread!
    Have fun!

Sounds like you wont get a case of RAD if you have to run everything through the OL'Lady

You underestimate my level of insanity my friend... where there's a will there's a way, it may just be a little slower.

Well I would offer you $23 and postage for it .... but we do not do appraisals here
so I will not make the offer....

Any razor in good condition from the golden years of straight razors
is worth what you paid assuming no cracks or chips on the blade
    and sound scales.

Hone it up or have it honed by a pro and give it a shave test.
The shave test is the ultimate measure of a worthy razor.
