Default I finally got her to admit it!!!

so the fiance and were laying in bed this morning and I was laying with my face on her chest and she asked me to move my head because I was "scratchy". Upon hearing this, I said "I'll shave later today...see honey arent you glad I now use straight razors and I can get such a smooth shave". She nodded yes and confirmed her answer with an auditory "yes"! So while, Im sure she wont admit that she condones my straight razor shaving while she is fully awake, as far as I am concerned deep down she likes it.

That's great progress JL. The transformation will be complete when she starts buying you razors as gifts.

I dont know if she will ever buy me a razor, but she has mentioned that she likes the idea of gift certificates to classic shaving. I wish John Crowley had gift certificates lol! I just love the look of his razors...and the monster sizes he carries!

Well, a gift certificate is a good start. Keep after her though. It's not too late to give up hope.

I think that's probably illegal in several states isn't it?

My wife encourages me to shave with my straight, in fact she will even join me in the bath while I save and sometimes even sits in the bath room and just watches.

She also bought me a new dovo when our first baby was born and we named it after my daughter.

    Perfect....

You name your razors? Wow, that's really getting into the whole str8 razor experience.

I just finished shaving my F.I.L. my 3 youngest kept crowding the chair and watching. They get a real kick out of it. My youngest uses a plastic knife for "shaving" when they're playing.

I think my family has gotten so used to it that it's just a standard part of life.
