Skype Names

Couldn't remember if we did this before but I thought we could list our contact names on Skype and Yahoo Messenger or whatever to add each other to our lists.

My name on both Skype and Messenger is adjustme69

rsitzejr is my skype name, but I rarely have it on.

just an fyi... in your usercp/edit profile you can list your id(s) for various messaging services, including yahoo messenger, skype, etc. For each one you list there will be an icon appear under the post count in your messages... eg, Lynn has both yahoo and skype listed. Click the icon and that service will be invoked.

guys this thread is quite empty considering the membership of the SRP, I enjoy talking on skype and messenger and believe it or not have learned alot from its use,so go ahead and join in, you all have computers and who knows maybe you can put a face to the name and voice to it also..

Logitech makes a good offering of webcams. What I like about Skype is that it is significantly more efficient than say MSN Msg at transmitting videostreams - less lag and more consistent fps. However, be aware that videoconferencing through Skype is a 1 on 1 deal.

I tried a bunch of names on Skype and they were already taken. So I chose theonlynameleft

BTW. I use the dual phone and it's great being able to roam around the house or sit outside and not have to be near my computer to use Skype.

I've noticed that, even though I'm logged in to Skype, the little icon in the side bar indicates that I'm not online.... nevermind :fim: I just realized that I had that option turned off in the Skype preferences...
