    Default Interesting straight razor\brush stand

I don't have the funds currently to bid on this myself, so I thought I'd at least share it with you folks.

Interesting, but I have a problem with the design. Why would you want to hang a wet brush directly over your razor? Seems like a sure fire way to ensure rust.

There you go with that whole logic thing again.

I have just won that item, it looks fun. Not sure my wife will like it cluttering up the bathroom.

I'm not one for sexist generalities (sexist generality soon to follow ), but I have never had a woman in my life that failed to clutter up the bathroom.

Nice stand by the way. I'd say its a good addition to any shaving collection.

I agree with Ed, it would have been much better if the razor cradle was above the brush cradle. It is a neat concept nevertheless.

I might want to try duplicating it out of brass, with the brush/razor cradles reversed. Just need to find the time for all the projects.

I do agree that it is the wrong way round, but I hang my brush upside down and I never see any water under it, so I guess it may work. I will post some pictures when it is polished up.

    Peter,
I look forward to seeing in after you clean it up.

    Vlad,
I'd love to see your redesign...while you're at it, how about adding a rack around the base for a few more razors (out of the drip line of the brush of course) .
