    Wink A Razor Tale..

So let me tell you the story of the day

As many of you know my real job is as a Finance Manager at a Ford store, so last week or so I have this customer in my office and we get to talking...
One thing leads to another and we get to talking Straight Razors, he says " Jeez Glen I have one I bought maybe 30-40 years ago for $15" "Do you think you could sharpen it up for me and let me try it"

    You guys know my answer,,

I ask him what brand it is after I tell him to bring it by for honing, he says "I can't remember but I think it is Spanish" I says "Filarmonica???"
He says "Been a long time since I had it out but, maybe"
    I says "Bring it by"

He did today Yep you know it

Great gesture Glen. I hope the guy enjoys his razor and falls for it as we all have here. Who knows, maybe we'll have a new member coming in soon.

"That Filarmonica is still worth about $15, but I will pay you $20 for it..." says Glen, turning it "disapprovingly" over in his hand.

    JUNK!

I hope you fixed him up with something more suitable. Maybe a Wapi or.....no I don't dare say it.

Nice story Glen. Makes you wonder just how many Fili's, DD's, Puma's, Mappins, Bokers etc are out there, just sitting in drawers or shoe boxes, waiting to be bought by over-zealous SRP members for a nominal price......

As a former finance and sales manager in the car business myself I have just self censored the first 10 comments that popped into my head. I will just say cool story and leave it at that.

    Hehe! Cool story, thanks Glen!

Hopefully he gets sucked in as well, he's definitely well set up with a shave ready blade now...!
