    Default Too Sharp!!

I experienced my first too sharp shave today. I sharpened my favorite razor, the 6/8 Eskilstuna last night, with a pyramid scheme:

    10 passes on 1 micron
    10 on .5 mic
    10 on .25 mic
    2 on .5 mic
    10 on .25 mic
    1 on .5 mic
    10 on .25 mic

and cut the H*LL out of myself this morning: a nick under each nostril and under the center of my nose, several nicks on my chin and trashed one side of my neck in that small area between the Adam's Apple and the tendon.

Now there's a problem I wouldn't mind having... why don't you just send that puppy to a professional razor-duller like me, and I'll get that in nice shape for you with a couple sloppy passes on my uneven paddle strop....

Tony, the only way one of yours is uneven is if he used it to play fetch with his dog

No, not one of yours. I don't know why it's uneven, but it appears to bow in the middle a bit. It' always been like that.

Its not too sharp the the problem is the frown at the edge
an unhappy razor equates to an unhappy shaver
