Thanked: 16old English blades?
I'm a somewhat new se shaver who has been doing pretty well with the learnig curve thus far. I just picked up Bill's new restoration disk and have been looking through the recent eBay listings. What's the general opinion on the old Wade & Butcher bow razors that appear to be in good shape such as:

My sharpening arsenal consistes of a 4k/8k Norton on order and a 4-sided pasted strop from Tony.
Another similar possibility is an old Wostenholm

I'm thinking about picking up something like one of the above 2, and possibly if it turns out to be a good shaver, contacting Garythepenman for one of his nice wooden scales.
In the very short-term, my plan is to pick up some good "practice eBay specials" to try out various abrasive and polishing techniques from Bill's cd and learn the Norton when it arrives.
