Maxim feature on SE shaving

I'm a Harper's man, myself.

I can't say for sure what kind of publication sched Maxim's on, but quite often letters concerning a magazine's content won't come out until two issues after the fact. If that shaving piece was in the August issue, it's more than likely the condemnations won't flow until the October printing.

There wasn't anything in the most recent issue, I will keep checking and post if I see anything about that article.

I think this is about par for them. I'm reminded of the laughing and howling in the climbing forums after a pitiful article about the sport.
