Maxim feature on SE shaving
If you guys remember the pitifully bad Maxim how-to on SE shaving, I am sure some of you sent angry responses and corrections. I sure as h*ll did. Did any of them come out in the September issue?

I haven't seen the issue, but I'm going to assume the answer is no.

Was there any discussion of the Maxim issue here, so I could read the thread? Or any other online info about it? Just curious, it sounds interesting.

I used to be subscriber and read it cover to cover. Ofcourse, whenever I came back to the old issues, it was for the pretty picture of.. Uhmmm.. Cool.. Silicone... Gadgets

I never quite understood the popularity of those lad mags (though I think it's declining at the moment)
The editorial content is a joke from what I can tell and the pictures seem to be more or less "PG" or so. Kinda like the 'pushing the almost-nudity envelope as much as we can get away with' attitude that has contributed to the overall decline of quality in media in recent years. Seems silly to me, as if geared towards people that don't dare to buy the real stuff.
Playboy for example shows the girls in the their god-given attire (plus silicone if that's what floats your boat) and even has some quality journalistic content. Why not read that instead?
Maybe somebody here can enlighten me

I was a subscriber when I was about 20 and liked reading the articles. The eye-candy was just an icing on the cake.
