Thanked: 346Pretty but they don't look terribly practical. He's using metal on the scales of some of the razors, I wonder how well that would balance? I doubt he's actually tried to use any of these designs...

Very creative. Personally, I don't like them very much, though.
When closed, that mammoth ivory one looks like a corkscrew of some kind.

I like the design but just to look at not to use. For daily use I prefer no nonsense scales. These are more for showing off!
I think honing and stropping them may be more difficult with such heavy handles. The heavier the handle or scales the more you may lose the feel of the blade.
