The Classic Edge could be called The Classy Edge. I purchased from them also and the whole experience was a great one.
just got off the phone with Phil, I was turned on to him by Ron over at star shaving ( another class act ) and boy oh boy is he a shave fanatic, he goes the extra mile to make you happy...and he can put quite the edge on a razor as well!
I have to thank Phil too for going the extra mile to satisfy a customer. Very good and friendly service. When I opened the package from him I was very surprised to find a hand written note along with a few extras. He is definitely at the top of my list to buy from.

Just received a package from them today. It was a strop I ordered as I've decided to start bringing my straights with me while I travel. Also my first bottle of real Chromium Oxide. I have the 'crayon' from Lee Valley that I bought years ago, before I realized that wasn't the good stuff. Anyway, I loved the hand written note. Nice touch in a day when everything is computerized and pushed for speed.
I know this is kind of an old thread but I noticed that you said that you wanted a Bismarck before they were no longer available. Did they stop making Bismarcks?
I just bought one a few months ago and they still have them for sale. They shave real nice i might add.Quote:
