Default how did I do on this ebay razor?

    Hi Folks,

I checked e-bay today and won this razor. Anyone care to tell me what they think of it?

    I'd appreciate any input.

    Michael,
Even though the pic is bad, I'll make the assumption that this NOS blade is blemish-free. In that case you should be checking into the Criminal Code, b/c $35 for something like that is bordering on theft

Did it say NOS? I thought it said "brand new" in which case it might not be an older manufacturer right. I don't recall this brand in any of the discussions. Anyone seen it before?

The workmanship on it seems too good to be a Zeepk, so chances are it was made by a legit manufacturer. Since nobody's selling new pieces now, I assumed it was NOS.

The blade has all the indicators of a quality German made razor. I think you have a real buy.

OK, I'll bite. I know that POS is an acronym for "Point Of Sale"; you know, like the credit/debit-card terminal on the gas pump, or at the supermarket checkout counter. Nah, I know what POS really means.

But what the heck does NOS stand for? Right, "Nitrous Oxide", as in Nitrous Oxide injection, for 'rods.

C'mon, I'm an OK guy. You can tell me.
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

It stands for NEW OLD STOCK, meaning it was made a long time ago and sat in a warehouse untouched until now. The implication of the phrase is that the old stuff was made better than we make it today and if you could have it in new condition it would be superior.

Like my ex-wife's unmarried sister, eh? or the dyslexic pimp, who blew all his money buying a warehouse?
