Thread: Trip in USA with Dovo razor

Hi guys!

Next week I'll be in Detroit for business and I would like to bring my Dovo razor with me.
Surely I won't put it in my hand luggage. Checked baggage is the right place.
There should be any problem if my razor will be found during a customs check?
Have you got any similar experience?

It's incredibly unlikely anyone will open your suitcase. The only precaution I'd take is to wrap the razor in some clear film or put it in a small clear bag. This decreases the likelihood of the edge being damaged during an inspection.

I travel in and out of the US with razors and other knives. It's perfectly legal to do so!

Man I hope Detroit isn't your first venture into America !?! Just joking.

I'll just reiterate what Ecl said - it's unlikely your bag will be opened. But if it is... it's just a razor. You'll be fine.

@ earcutter: it's my first trip in US! I konw that Detroit hasn't a good reputation (in my mind Detroit = Robocop = crime) but I also hope that this city is changed from '80!
