I didn't know if or where I should put this, but here it is.
Yesterday, I waited for some guys to come by to fix my internet problems. They decided to put up a very discrete, twenty foot mast on my garage. Whatever it takes, it works now. When it came time for the guy to come into my home I showed him where the PC is and let him get about his work. I decided to wait around to keep an eye on him. They had to run a new, bigger line into my house. To do so, the guy on the inside needed to remove the cover plate over the incoming cord. Next to my PC desk is a small bedside nightstand which I use to put my hones on, hang a strop off and keep things in the drawers. The drawer was open about on fist's with. He, apparently noticed something and reached into the drawer and pulled out my Clauberg Tonsorial Gem razor. He opened it up and looked at it, at which time I warned him it was sharp, thinking the whole time that he was more than rude to reach and grab something of mine. He replied, he didn't have a screwdriver to take the cover screws out. I stopped him with a few whoa, whoa's and some more stern, no effin' way's. I got him a screwdriver. After he was done, I asked him if he was really going to use my razor as a screw driver. He said, "no, not the blade, just the skinny part that sticks out of the handle". Never would, or could I imagine someone would even think to do such a thing. But, I guess it was just a tool to get his job done.
Lesson learned, watch anyone you ever let in your home. I'm just damn glad I was there.

Later all, Don V
