Thanked: 116An awesome community to be a part of.
This is the first forum that I've ever been a part and wanted to comment on my experiences so far. Not only do the members here have a wealth of knowledge that they openly share, people here are courteous, respectful and generous! I've learned how to purchase razors, how to hone them and if I'm ever up for the challenge, steps to restore razors and strops and brushes from the ground up are at my fingertips!
It's almost a strange feeling! There really is a sense of community here; even though I will most likely never see any of these people face to face! I guess this is how the internet has evolved and a great example of how it lets us, civilized beings, connect and communicate with one another.
Recently a member, who I won't name, had a small post hidden away somewhere that offered a little treat, free of charge. Not only was this person a pleasure to talk to, they sent a little gift! Today, in the mail, I received a few soap samples and some CrOx. I'm absolutely delighted and excited to try the product! When I asked this person if there was anything I could do in return, they didn't even respond.
A big thanks goes out to everyone that is part of Straight Razor Place - Welcome to Straight Razor Place that's passionate about shaving, about a craft that is centuries old, and about making people feel welcome!

Thank you, this is exactly what we are working for, you have just made any and all of my effort worthwhile. The razor and the shave are key, but the sense of community is what its all about in my book.

You just made my day!
If it wasn't for the kind and generous folk here, I'd be nowhere near where I am with straight razor shaving/stropping/honing etc!!
What a Long Strange Trip It's Been!

Well said, it sure is a special place with special people.
If someone had told me three years ago that I would make friends all over the world though a internet forum based on a common interest in shaving I would have thought they were nuts, today it is the most natural thing in the world.
If I for some reason don't get to come here in a few days I find myself missing the guys hereNeed help or tutoring? Check out the .
