Thanked: 1Found Another Great Use For Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum
This past weekend, I found another great use for Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum! My family and I had brought home our Christmas Tree from the tree lot. After I got it into the stand and strung the lights my hands were covered in sap. Usually, I would just wash my hands and then pour rubbing alcohol over them to remove the sap. As I was washing my hands, I realized that Virgin Island Bay Rum is nothing more than alcohol, coloring and scent. So I grabbed the Bay Rum and poured a bunch in my hands. It took care of the pine sap withour a problem and my hands smelled great. The wife loved my quick thinking.

I understand it also makes a great degreaser for car engines.

If I only had one A/S it would be Pinuad Bay Rum. There are others that are probably better but it is cheap and does the job.
Don't try this at home, from the Wiki ......"This Rexall bay rum from the Prohibition era in the United States was labeled "for external use only," but with 58% grain alcohol it was often used as a legal means to obtain alcohol for drinking." When I was a kid I heard from old alkys that they used to drink bay rum back in the day.
