    Default Scents Junior Should Avoid

Um, I don't think us older shavers have to be too concerned. However, if you have male children, you might take note. According to information in this Reuters article, certain scents may contribute to breast developement in your boys. The article can be read at http://today.reuters.com/news/articl...-OILS-BOYS.xml and don't let your babies grow up to be cowgirls. Now don't shoot the messenger, I happen to like lavender.

Thanks for the heads up Toddo. I'm safe as I hate lavender and am allergic to tea tree oil so I don't think any kids I'll have will be exposed to those. Now I'm bracing for the screams of anguish

In the thread I Want a Man's Soap, I explored the dangers of them girly smells --maybe I wasn't crazy after all. Who's wearing a bra now? Interesting article. later,

Wait till next year, they'll find that it wasn't correct. I'm getting old enough now to realize that most "studies" rarely get it right the first, second, third times.

That said, I use lavender and I thought it was just because I'm gaining weight

Someone ought to get that article over to Colleen, too

I predict a run on products that contain Lavender and Tea Tree Oil, the buyers being pre-teen and teenage girls.

seriously though, I like Lavender. Shucks now what . Oh well, I'll just temper it with some leatherneck, and only use it after killing a tyranosaurus rex with a safety pin

    Only a lavender-using wuss needs a safety pin to kill a T-Rex

It would be nice if the more manly smells would have the same effect on the male --a what-cha-call-it ---little fireman, -----can I say pee wee. Where's the study on that. I'd be reeking of sandalwood--not that I need any help or anything --just for purely intellectual interests of course. Later,

    Justin

Yes, um, purely in the interest of science..of course.

I read the article on Foxnews.com and it said that has soon the boys quit using the soap, the problem went away. I'm sure that's an unpleasant side effect for your study, right Justin?
