Thread: Get Together for west TN.

Hi guys , went on a bike ride with Joel(guitstik) last weekend and we talked, I would like to put together a meet at my house in Oakland Tn. early spring if we can get some participation. I know of a couple of members in central Tn , and one not far from me here , not to mention Mississippi,and Arkansas,for that matter anyone is welcome! For those of you who don't know where Oakland is its about 30 miles east of Memphis ,, this is the first one and it would be great to start our own tradition ,, nothing big like the guys in Kansas City have going ,but maybe we can get there! I will host and do the bar b que and refreshments, just need someone who can hone to show up. (Lynn its not that far, or Glen it is far but id be willing to put up with you at my home ) but anyway it,ll be fun to meet and swap some info and see some gear, heck if we do this at the right time a bike ride can be done too! so if interested please PM me or post here and we,ll start talking about dates, I,m going to be retired part time so I can work around any schedule ,,, Moderators I hope this is the procedure to try this , if ive stepped over my boundries , I, apologize Tc

It's a long shot and too soon for me to commit but I might be willing to make the 725 mile trip. I enjoy meeting new people at every meet-up and might be able to swing it, especially if I can get Randy to come along yet again!

Well finally someone's looking!!!! I know it's not the big KC meet , but we could get there. Anyway. Utopian you and Randydance would surely be a highlight to our little get together , I would be honored , now as far as it that brush maker , I know I'd like to meet him thanks for looking Ray! It's still early and as soon as I get some more interest I'll nail down a date , it'll just be in my garage and house , , but I'll take care of feeding good ole Memphis style BBQ thanks for responding guys , if you have any tips to help me put it together , you logistics as far as how to set up and table requirements and so on ,, in the meantime I plan on going to some of the meets if there is any in between , I'll have more time now. No. We have OK here in TN. But we do have white lightning and fire water in about any flavor you like. My favorite is the apple pie. But maybe that's only here in East TN.

Guys thank you for all the response ,, heck I don't know if I have enough room I may rent a space!! Some really good people here I can't wait to meet everyone ,, and Lynn it ain't but a ride away from you Would be honored to have you show up,, and Kevin your welcome any time ,, problem will be these guys might get sick of all our ole roughneck stories!! I'm pumped now , so I ll put up a questionnaire soon about when is good to narrow it down. Guys I am really looking forward to any who can make it , this is a great bunch of guys. Yes even you Bill!!!! And if you need shots I'd be happy to administer then to you. I know you probably don't get out , but I'll even let you stay in the room with all my brushes from you and Ray!!!
