Looking at my grinder, if I change it to 110 V it says 18 amps. That would be pushing a 20 amp circuit but being a grinder it should be ok. What do you think and what type of circuits are at the shop.

I just remembered that we also power the heat treat oven off of that circuit, so when the oven or welder are in use we can just carry one grinder.
These are some pictures of my set up. Not as fancy as others but portable.
Right now I have a 50 Amp 230 Volt standard plug and about a 30 ft of cord.
I can toss it in and if we need another grinder it will be there.
