Mid Mo 2009 Meet

I don't drink but nobody better go to sleep if I have a razor---LOL! Ever hear of a Mohawk hair cut:-)

Since I failed miserably at making the last Mid MO gathering, I'm leery about trying again but what the heck, I MIGHT be able to come. I can't commit until we're closer to the date because I can't project what will be cooking in my lab that far ahead of time. It's a 4 hour drive for me so I'll probably leave when the shooting starts.:gth
This is the first time I've had a reason to use that emoticon!

I can bring a stereo-microscope and some boxes of rocks.

I'm gonna try to make this one too as it won't be around the time of my annual Bennett Springs trip and besides, Mamma loves an opportunity to come into St. Louis to see the boys and the grand daughter.

Well if you're bringing three brown Eschers, I guess I'll have to come! I'll just beg my wife to do some of my lab work that day. I'm going to have to be nice for a while.:gaah:

I hope you can make it Utopian. I was looking forward to meeting you last meeting. It'll be great to have the grand daddy of Modern Straight Razor Shaving with us too with Lynn. I am going to be at Bennett Springs two weeks after the MidMo meetup for a week long camping trip. There will be plenty of show and tell at the meet.

Ron/Lynn hope you guys can make it this time. To those that made it last year, maybe we should call this the Mid Mo Redneck Fest.:D

Oh, that's right. I forgot that Lynn was going to come to the last one as well. Hopefully his sister in law didn't show up unannounced expecting a birthday party too! I hope both of us make it there this year, even if it means I won't get the prize for traveling the farthest.

For those who are coming I would like to say that my shave den is open for all to use if you want to save your shave of the day until then. Available is the towels which can be heated and hot lather from the shaving mug and many soaps [Try the Tootsie Roll Flavor] and creams to choose from. All of my shave ready razors are available or use yours if you want to. We can demonstrate the uberlather although Jockeys did a great job in his video and it is somewhat like that. Hey Jockeys you need to make this one.
