Mid Mo 2009 Meet
Well it's that time of the year to start thinking about the Mid Mo get together. I PM'ed Joe and offered my services and house for the meet. I live approximately half way between St. Louis and Kansas City [2 hours drive from each one] and 15 minutes south of Interstate 70. I am thinking from late May to early June on a Saturday to keep away from heat of mid summer. If you would like to attend and have any date conflicts let me know and we will try to accommodate everyone. I have plenty of room and parking and have a couple extra beds in case someone does not want to make the drive home that evening. I would like to get people from St. Louis and Kansas City areas. Straight Razor Shavers are welcome from any part of the country if you are in this area.
There will be snacks and refreshments through out the day and I haven't decided what the main meal will be yet. I haven't checked my road kill supply yet. If you have a special drink you like, bring it with you.
Bring your favorite razors, hones, brushes etc. Maybe we can talk Old Blades into bringing his collection. When the time gets closer PM me for directions, address and telephone number.

Thanks for response Sham and Ken. I am so looking forward to this meetup. I would really like to get some St. Louis folks to come by. I think there are some new Straight Shavers from that area. We are only 2 hours away. Maybe Gunner777 can come and show us a couple of his guns.
We will have a variety of hones to sharpen up your blades including Shams big collection of naturals. My Shaptons will be available for anyone wanting to try them. We can do minor repair such as replace pins etc.
I am going to throw out the date of Saturday May 30 [OK guys this is the date we have decided on] to see if this is OK with you all. If anyone has conflicts and would still like to attend it can be moved to a more suitable date.

Oh yeah!
I am definitely in. As long as it's not the last few days in May (anniversary), I am good anytime.
Thanks for hosting this year BJ, I am looking forward to seeing your custom brushes in person.

RSVP
Put me down. I might bring a friend as well. He is interested in straight shaving and I am in the process of converting him.
So... at least one person from St. Louis will be there.

Wow this is a great response. Nathan, Mike and JBalls918 are added to the list. I have a few things on my bar [I don't have beer] and some soft drinks but if you have a particular drink you like I would say bring it. Guns are welcome [This is Missouri right]. Its going to be a great show and tell. The date is set for Saturday, May 30.
I also want to let you know I am on the Members Google Map and have put the link in my signature for the time being. Please add your pin to the map if you haven't done so. Also a reminder to those who haven't done so please add your name to your signature. Thank you.
