Atlanta, GA Area Meet Possibility?

Okay everyone, I think it's high time that those of us around the ATL have a meet up. I'm not the most experienced straight shaver (read: 3 months in) but I'm willing to help organize.

doesn't have to be all shave related either... I know I'm certainly down for going for a few beers, cooking out, going to the range or whatever anyone else is down for.

So, let's hear it, all you ATLiens... who's in?

I'm in Atlanta metro area. I will be interested. Rickbone is proposing a SE meetup in October in a different thread. Might want to avoid conflicts. Last Atlanta meetup was a real good time. That was a year ago last February.

Nope, Columbus isn't that far, really. I actually used to live in Opelika, AL and had to drive to Columbus almost daily for one of the projects my company was working on (the construction of the lofts at the old Eagle & Phenix Mill).

If all else fails, you and I could have a meet of our own... I could start walking and be at your house in about 20 minutes. I'm on the corner of Lost Mountain and Bullard. Amberton's not that far away.
Who else that was at the last meet is still active on here? I'd certainly send some PM's if I need to. And I'd definitely try to avoid any kind of scheduling conflict with Rickbone's meet.

Yep, Bullard and Lost Mountian is right next door to me. We're neighbors, my daughters went/ go to to Hillgrove... I'll do some research and check out the threads leading up to that meet. There was a really good turn out at that event. I'll let you know. Seems I remember that the guy that organized that event was able to get a list of members from Atlanta, by doing a query on the form. I 'll look back at those threads if I can.

I'd be interested. I couldnt make the last one. I'd even be up for just a few of us meeting for coffee, beers, cigars, and the range idea is very appealing.

I'm flexible. Weekends are best. Poppy926, Crouton976, we all are within a few miles of each other. If nothing else, we could meet at Viva Mexico or at the new Powder Springs Antique Mall and critique the outrageous prices for the straights and DE razors that are showing up there.
