Thanked: 443Fourth Annual Rocky Mountain Meet/Mile-High Madness
Howdy folks,
Time to start thinking about this year's meet. Last year's was at the end of September, the year before was on the early side of summer, if I remember right. Anyone (especially Glen) have a favored month?
I'll kick off the planning, but may have moved to California by the time the meet actually happens.
Chime in, y'all."These aren't the droids you're looking for." "These aren't the droids we're looking for." "He can go about his business." "You can go about your business."

Thanked: 443Wouldn't hold the Rocky Mtn meeting in CA. Not sure where I'll end up--the work will be all over the place. Somewhere between Bakersfield and Oregon, the Pacific and Nevada.

I'm in if at all possible. As long as it doesn't conflict with another planned event in early september. I will get those dates from the social planner and post in this thread.
Edit: I will not be able to make it is held September 5th through 9th for sure.Last edited by scrapcan; 05-06-2013 at 01:32 PM.

Hey there, total newbie to this site, and on my introduction post I was directed to this event! I'm definitely interested if you guys don't mind someone who is very much ready to make the switch - and ready to learn at your meeting. My own mother is going through cancer treatments at Mayo in Scottsdale, so my weekends book up, but I'll keep a look out. Hope all is well with everyone,
Darren

Thanks Milehighscott!
I think I can make July 14, but again, sometimes schedule is up in the air due to my Mom's health. I'd really like to join you guys and ask questions - maybe get some tips on honing and what products to start buying. By that time I might even have a razor. I'm going to check the classifieds to see if there are some shave ready razors so I can start practicing [that's what people have suggested - which makes total sense to me]. And I guess lots of youtube, unless you guys have some good videos out there that I can link to - thanks again.

Darren,
If you want to learn to hone, this is the event to attend. Glenn is patient, practical and a great teacher. I went to the meet in 2011 after two years of some good/some bad results. This one day was the breakthrough for me.
Plus you get the added bonus of attaching faces to the screen names.
Hope you can make it.
