Thread: Takashima Karasu Asagi with Tomo Nagura

My wife and I are celebrating our 30th Anniversary in a few weeks, and my plans have gone a tad over budget. Therefore, I'm selling a few razors and stones to help foot the bill:

Offering a very nice Takashima Karasu Asagi, approx. 210mm x 43mm x 26 mm, 619g. The included Tomo Nagura is approx. 37mm x 27mm x 14mm, 38g.

This is a fairly hard stone, maybe LV5, that is a very easy finisher with both slurry and water. You could use it with an Asano Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression. I use it as a final finisher, with Tomo slurry diluted to pure water. It does not self slurry in my experience. Both Toishi and Nagura have been sealed with cashew lacquer. They were originally purchased from Keith Johnson at TomoNagura.com.
