Thread: 2 American Barber Hones

Two razor hones from Gliss Razor Hone Company.

It is difficult to read the label so my spelling/interpretation of the print may not be 100%. The stamp became clearer when I was cleaning the dark stone, but what was left on lighter colored stone came off. It appeared to be the same stamp though so I'm assuming they are from the same company.

The stamp seems to read:
Gliss/Gilss Razor Hone MFG CO
5216 5th Ave Moline, ILL

Each sharpening stone measures approximately
4"x 2"x 3/4"

Some chipping. The worse being a corner on the dark stone and two corners on the lighter stone
