I confess, I was impaired, had a tooth extracted and .....well, I probably shouldn't go further with that. So in the last 4 minutes of a auction I see this stone which I convince myself is a natural stone, not a synthetic. One of our fellow members openly ridiculed me and suggested I stay away from Ebay (this is the 3rd purchase that has been questionable so he has a point). I guess now I wonder just what this 'oilstone' is. It does not look like the carborundum of old, but I have not looked at oil stones in a long long time.Attachment 142183
