Can anyone identify this stone? The description says it is a Barber's hone, but the wooden box, and the variable color makes me think otherwise.

As you know, it's filthy & hard to tell what it is,,,
How about the name? Try GOOGLE FU on the name & maybe a company will pop up.
Not sure what the FU is for, or if you are mad at me.....but I think the name is probably the owners name.Quote:

I must be in the White belt category as well, in Australia this has a completely different meaning! If you told someone on the street to FU or F-U they would probably punch you.. Or give you an evil look of disgust wondering what they ever did to you!

Just for the hell of it I looked up the name and found a few matches, best of which was Robert L Williams, aged 36 in 1930 residing in Luzerne, PA, civil engineer for county highways. You never know... :)
