I was thinking I have HAD, but now after I saw your collection, I am OK. Is just a mild one.

Thanks guys for all the "likes" and nice comments :)!
Well, I've had many more coticules and thuringians, these are just the ones I've kept... So, one could say that my HAD has been getting better ;).
On the other hand, I still have several JNats, Choseras and other synthetic hones so I'm far from being cured yet :D...
Cheers
Jörg
That's a wonderful collection. I love the look of the naturals. I think you should keep all of your coti's and since the thuris all work about the same you should only need one. I could take one off your hands ;)
Hi folks,
I got lucky again and got a steal with this very nice thuringian (14,5 x 3 x 1,5 cm) complete with rubbing stone and box:

The pictures are a bit dark but the stone is yellowish-green with a yellowish-brown slurry.
I got it together with a lovely little Puma razor in ivory scales which I sharpened on the hone - nice :D...

Wow
That is impressive. I have always fancied a thuri but never tried one.
I have an impressive rock/razor collection myself. If ever you fancy a trade, pm me sometime.

Dude. I'm still hoping to try a second coti for comparison!
OK, it seems as if I had a recent relapse of acute HAD ;)... Here are two beautiful "hybrid layer" coticules + matching rubbing stone that I just had to bid on:

Wet:

The elliptic one measures 17 x 4.8 x 2.7 cm (glued to BBW) while the other one is 10.8 x 7.4 x 1.4 cm.
They are hard, really hard, stones - it took me ages to have them lapped (esp. the rectangular one) even though they were pretty flat to start with. It's also hard work to raise a slurry on them but once you've got it done the stones aren't as slow as I expected but still on the very slow end of the speed-scale for coticules. But they do leave quite a good polish and very keen edges :). I got really good HHTs directly off the stone without stropping.
Cheers

Hi Jörg congrats nice ones !! I had them all on my wishlist but i skipped due to other stones...
