The Number of the Escher is something like a running number the /7 writes the size...
As far as i remember these Versions do not have the color sticker on the End....

They are out there but it's about $700 to buy... I bought one for $35 couple years ago and won't find that deal again.. Should have held onto it. I think the pic in post #8 on first page is this stone but not marked and I don't know.. Look familiar to anyone?

I don't think so, the Norton is a barber hone I believe, all the ones I've seen have NORTON molded into them - and I've never seen one with a rubbing stone - but someone else more familiar will be able to give you a definite answer.
