I need some help identifying this hone. There are no markings anywhere on it and I'm afraid to use without knowing what it is. It is very smooth on both sides and quite heavy. Help is appreciated!

Sure does look like it!
That looks like a natural combination Belgian Coticule.
Coticules are tied with Jnats for my favorite hones. Enjoy it! Let us know how it performs. Look up "Unitcot" and "Dilucot" to learn about slurry honing.
Or just use plain water to touch up or refresh an edge that is already there.
МММ No it is hard to tell from a distance , but i dont think that is usefull hone .
Better send it to me for a close inspection :w
