Help ID this hone?
I need some help identifying this hone. There are no markings anywhere on it and I'm afraid to use without knowing what it is. It is very smooth on both sides and quite heavy. Help is appreciated!
This shavette just doesn't offer enough risk factor. - Mark

Sure does look like it!It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

That looks like a natural combination Belgian Coticule.
Coticules are tied with Jnats for my favorite hones. Enjoy it! Let us know how it performs. Look up "Unitcot" and "Dilucot" to learn about slurry honing.
Or just use plain water to touch up or refresh an edge that is already there.
