Oh come on Ed. How much stock can one person carry off? This is an unfortunate incident but no-one lost a life - and there's more of where they came from - so the stock can be replaced.

I hate thieves. Anyone who has something stolen from them knows the feeling........nothing funny about it.
They took cash too, profit, maybe wages, maybe money to pay suppliers etc. Whether there is more in the ground or not the time taken to produce that stock can not the replaced and it can be damaging for a business to lose cash flow. Its not just that but this is their business, their life and someone had violated it, damaged their property getting in to help themselves to stones and cash.
Everyone handles things differently but we'll make a note that if you get burgled it'll beOK to have a laugh about it. ;)
Gee I guess that was aimed at me too then.
Obviously I take the robbery seriously and agree with stiff consequences should the culprit be caught.
But I ask you, Isn't that like saying don't joke about Rob Ford because of the seriousness of Canadian politics.
Don't make jest of any serious topic?
And yes of course I will be vigilant with regard to sales of coticules
Darn, if someone died for it, that would be more than sad. And, stealing coticule stones? A genius like this will probably get caught easily. They can check the antique shops or knife and stuff shops in the area. There is also the chance that, he'll play with them for a week and then return them with a note "sorry". Ebay is also a possible way to sell them, so, if you know how they look like... you can buy them, find his address, and do what you will with it  :tameshigiri: .
And, the Romans did it first, but they were the Romans.
The difference is Rob Ford is a public figure who regularly makes an a$$ of himself. Think how you might feel if this happened to you or your business and then you had to read posts from people poking fun at it. I for one would probably feel like handing out a few knuckle sandwiches.
This is precisely how/why the saying "add insult to injury" came about.
