Lookn for inexpensive lapping stone
I have a set of Naiwas and wanted to know a basic but good lapping stone just to maintain my set. I am only using this for personal use and heard various suggestions.

Get a $5 piece of granite tile from home depot and 8 oz of SIC lapping powder 320 grit or so. The tile may be $5 and another 10 or so for the powder and done! Will last a long time! I have dmts and atomas and they dont last. People told me to use this and I didnt listen. You can also use wet dry sandpaper on a flat piece of glass. 320 grit as well.
