Razorlovestones Project / Magnification Shots of Stones
Thuringian Water Stones Part 2
High Quality Stones from
Escher & Co and Karl Brächer Jr.
In generell i think we can all agree that nearly all natural stones can be different as each individual appearance is unique....i now did some shots on the more valuable stones of my collection, in this case two Barber Delight Stones, one in YG the other as a combo stone in YG/DB. A third german "Barbers Delight" type "Rasierstube" in DB and a Karl Brächer Jr. in YG.
Actually i only used the very homogenious Barber Delight in YG and the Karl Brächer as the others have fully attached labels.
The interesting thing here is, that all the surface structures of the YG stones look very comparable.
A very fine clustered and homigenious surface, even the DB looks comparable in the visual fineness...just from the look the YG stones might have come from the same quarry ;-)
