Next question is should the 8000 SS be orange or yellow? Don't know if it's just the pics.
Having done some more searching, can get the thinner stones from a different site and for just a little more can get both 8000 and 12000. Would there be any reason not to bond them back to back or to a piece of wood?
The Naniwa SS 8k I had, no longer in my possession, was yellow. I don't like to glue stones. I buy the thicker versions if available. If you ever chip one side you can just flip it over and use the other side. Gluing prohibits that. Again that is a YMMV thing.
Am I allowed to mention prices from certain websites? Even if I don't glue, think at this price may not be too worried about damaging.
