Please help ID two hones (one is a MONSTER)
Both purchased today. The bench hone is over one foot long, two inches thick, and 3 inches plus across. Any help on ID would be great! Thanks in advance.

Thanked: 169I'm reading the big one as sandstone. Give it a real good stripping of muck, pop it on a polished granite tile or some float glass with sic or wet dry and see if swirls show up on the surface of the hone.
