Default Dan's Whestones, fire at building destroyed most of it.

Just happened, I have been to Dan's and purchased a truck load of stones and a lapping machine from them, great guys to talk to. I was just recently thinking I needed to go back, I guess not.

:UPDATE: Reports are that shipping department was damaged.

Ohhh noes! What a shame! They are some great people and very nice stones. I hope that they have good insurance and get things back to normal ASAP.

That is terrible news, my heart goes out to them. May they have a speedy rebuild and recovery.

    God bless.

Sad news indeed any time someone loses their place of business. I'm sure that there were tons of items that they had accumulated over the years that insurance can't replace.

Glad that I got my last shipment from Kim late last week.

This was the ONLY place I bought my stones from besides yard sales. Excellent product and great people. Sad sad news. Odd, their building burned down in 1984 too. They rebuilt then, I hope they do it again.

They have not lost their space or equipment to process raw stones. Their shipping area took the brunt

What a shame. Coincidentally, I was just looking at their website last weekend, lusting after stones-been wanting to try an Arkie, and supposedly they are the best.
