Default Slurry stone with Cnat, hard time....

    Fellas,

Just recently acquired a Chinese 12k. She's gorgeous. Iron veins, Tigers stripes. I cut her down to a size a prefer and lapped her dead flat with sic powder. All the way to 500 grit, then sandpaper 1000, then 2000 then coticule slurry dry and metal burnishing. She's burnished like a black Arkansas now. I will post a pic when I get home...

I actually lapped my slurry stone than I cut off along the way too! So my slurry is as hard and fine as my stone. I didn't realize like a knucklehead it would be hell to create slurry on it.

Gents, if I lap my slurry stone back to say, 220, will that affect the hone? Another piece I cut off produces slurry the way I expected
