You could count yourself lucky; a lot of the things described as Eschers on the bay are either unlabelled or minuscule and in all likelihood are not worth the outlandish sums the sellers want for them. I'd prefer to hone on a full size synthetic I know is good than on a 5" by 1" rock that may not actually be a Thuringian stone. However, there was a beautiful one shown here on SRP recently that would have been worth every cent of $400. I forget who posted the picture but it was a chance find and the label wasn't visible until it came out of the wooden case into which it had been stuck.
That was Geezer. Wisconsin seems to be a fruitful location to find Eschers ;
