Unknown British Hone [Llyn Idwal?]
Hone that just arrived today. It's a UK hone. Not a Charnwood/Charnley Forest as far as I can tell. Perhaps a llyn idwal? Thoughts?

(there's also an area which appears cracked or perhaps chipped and glued that the seller hadn't mentioned and appeared in his photos just like a discolouration, so I'll have to ask him about that. But it is near an end, so not as crucial perhaps.)

My guess is that it is a LI....
Typical is that swirling which looks like thinner clouds of small darker particles or dots....sometimes bigger dots appear. the coloration ranges from a dark green, to green, to light green.
Here an example in a lighter green with additional bigger dots:

Another one with a more homogenious look in a darker blueish green coloration:

Ok thanks its 100% a Llyn Idwall stone....the flaking on one of the sides is typical for those stones.
The Dalmore would appear either in a grayish bigger grained structure (Sandstone) or in a type of brownish coloration due its oiluse...
