Thanked: 104Yard sale today
Two hones at the yard sale. One says hickory and is in a honewell box. Other is a cute white stone. Paid 15 bucks for the pair of them. Both look unused.

Thanked: 563Looks like the coticule is glued to a Belgian Blue. Can you take a pic of the backer stone?

Nice lookin hones, B.
If you'd like, I can put a Coti edge on one of the razors you sent me, for a comparison to the Escher edge I put in your Elliot.
I will admit...I'm not a fan of the Coti, shave. Not that it doesn't give a good shave, it gives me a resistance of shaving with a dulling edge, on the first pass. I like a keener edge, so to speak. Most guys go for a pasted strop, after the coti. It definitely helps. YMMVMike
