    Default A Rare Washita Hone

Rare to me, at least. I have never seen a vintage Pike/Norton Washita that wasn’t used at all so when I saw this one I had to have it. If you have any in your collection please show me a picture!

The problem is, as most people know, when you use these stones they quickly discolor so I am now stuck with a stone that I love but can’t hone on unless I want a “slightly used” Washita which just isn’t the same! Now I have plenty of other pike/norton Washita stones to hone on but still. It seems like a waste of money but then again it is beautiful ....... dilemma indeed.

Either way I wanted to share it with everyone here that cares to look.

What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one
