    Default Stone ID?

    Hi Yall,

This is a bit embarrassing, but I bought a box of barber stuff (I was just looking at the razors) and this stone came in it. It was not in the description. I'm guessing it is some sort of natural honing stone. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

do you have some side views? is it all the same color? It looks like it might be rather dirty and it definitly needs a good lapping.

Hey Tintin, here are a few of more pictures of the sides and end. Also added something for scale. It is a charcoal grey on all sides. It doesn't seem to have a big color change when it is wet.

Based on some research it seams like natural stones are all used kind of the same way, right? You can either make a slurry or use it for fine polishing with water or oil.

    Thanks

Thuringian hone. Is that a part of a label on the one side?
