    Default Whetstone identification (German, Belgian?)

    Hello!

I bought 3 stones in a set. I suppose the darkest one is the Thuringian stone, and the others I have no idea. Is it possible that the brown one is Rouge du Salm or BBW? The one with black and white discoloration is interesting. I haven't found anything similar on the internet. Please help me identify

Well I haven't chimed in because I am no expert on slates which those all appear to be from what I can see.

But.lets give this thread a bump and maybe someone who does know them will see and weigh in. Good luck to you either way.

    Refering to the 2nd picture.

Middle one looks like Tam o Shanter.
Upper one a slate for sure- from who knows where.
Brown bottom one, no idea. It doesnt look natural to me. Maybe even a Barber hone. Not too many that colour Brown in the natural realm. Jnats maybe but not good ones(for razors).
I bet its a Barber hone.
