It's a fine finishing grit. actual number unknown.
Thanks, I guess the next step would be comparisons from those of you who have used this hone. What would you compare it to, a 10-12K , 16K.
Kind regards,
Gerard
I have this and it has two sides for honing. One side starts and the other finishes. I just got it and don't really have it figured out. It has a small stone with it and instructions indicating its quality and warnings about over honing. Anybody know anything about this one.

I got one.
It does well with finishing. I took a couple blades from low grit (1k-4k) to the frictionite #24 and got nice results on a finished edge. I just used it to touch up my TI Super Gnome, and without a paste followup it shaves nicely.
I can't compare it to any grit because from what I can tell it finishes finer than my Norton 8k, yet not quite as smooth as my 8k rated coticule.
